COURSE Q&A
Question:
Do I need prior experience to take this course?
Answer:
No prior experience is needed to enroll in this course. However, there are two prerequisites: a Bloodborne Pathogens certificate and a Barbicide certificate. Details on how to obtain these certificates will be provided upon enrollment.

How many students are in this course?
Answer:
This is a personalized training experience! We keep class sizes small to ensure each student receives focused attention. Most sessions are one-on-one, but if there are multiple students, the group will never exceed three participants.

How do I pay for my course?
Answer:
A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to reserve your spot in the class. You can send your deposit via Venmo, Zelle, or through an emailed invoice. The remaining balance is due three days before the course starts, or you can choose to pay the full amount upfront.

After completing my course, can I start working?
Answer:
Once you've successfully completed a course with us, you'll receive a certification. This certification acknowledges that you’ve trained in permanent makeup under our supervision and have gained the necessary knowledge to perform the service.
To legally perform microblading or other permanent makeup services, you must operate in a facility with a Body Art Permit (the name may vary based on your location). This permit is issued by your local Health Department and grants permission to practice in regulated professions like permanent makeup.
You have two options to proceed:
1. Obtain a Body Art Permit for yourself, or
2. Work in a facility that already holds a permit.
In either case, a certification of completion, often referred to as an apprenticeship, is required.
